Who called it?
Online, standing goes to whoever is loudest. We think it should go to whoever was right. PMF studies how communities call what happens next, and supports ventures that give them a fair record of who got it right.
Why we exist
Everyone remembers who shouted. Nobody remembers who was right.
Every fan club, forum and group chat argues about what happens next: the score on Saturday, the signing in January, the chart position on Friday. Then the moment passes, and the people who saw it coming get nothing for it. Not even a record.
Being right is a skill. Some people read a match, a chart or a scene better than everyone around them, week after week. Communities should be able to see that, and give those people the standing they've earned.
Anything about the past can now be faked. The future can't. A record of calls that came true is one of the few signals left that has to be earned.
What we do
Reputation that comes from being right.
01
Research
We talk with the people who run fan clubs, supporters' groups and online communities: how they make calls together, what keeps members talking, and what makes a call count. We publish what we learn.
02
Ventures
We support ventures that let a community keep score fairly: every call made before the fact, every result checked against a public source, the record there for everyone to see.
03
Open standards
The quiet parts, written down once: how to ask a question nobody can argue about later, how it settles, and how the record is kept. Shared openly, so nobody has to invent them twice.
Current study · Autumn 2026
Fan clubs and communities: how do you call it?
We're talking to people who run fan clubs, supporters' clubs and online communities in Europe and Asia. Football, motorsport, music, Eurovision, anything where your members argue about what happens next. If your group already runs a prediction game or a table of who got it right, we'd especially like to hear from you.
What it is
A 30-minute video call, in English. We ask about your community, what members talk about between match days, and how you handle predictions today.
What it isn't
A sales call. There's nothing to sign up for, nothing to buy and no money involved.
Your answers
Used only for this study: never published under your name, never passed on, never sold. Notes are deleted when the study ends, or sooner if you ask.
What you get
A summary of what we learn across all the conversations, and an early look at what comes out of it.

Who we are
A foundation in the making, funded by grants.
PMF has no shareholders and nothing to sell. It works on one question: can a community give standing to the people who were right?
